Justin, I wanted to thank you for your story. I too have used patches and was not able to sleep at night. Based on your story, I am going to order Smoke Deter. I also see they have a money back guarantee, it's worth a shot.
2. Cindy Says:
If you need another opinion, how about mine? I bought Smoke Deter when I had read a lot of good things about it over a year ago (before this review), and I agree completely with Justin; Smoke Deter works.
I haven't touched a cigarette in over a year.
3. InternetMutt Says:
I've used everything out there. Smoke Deter is the best. I never tried the gum. But I tried the patch and other pills and they did not work for me.
Order Smoke Deter, you'll be thanking me later when you kick the habit.
4. VP Says:
Just so everybody knows, I'm a patch to Smoke Deter convert. Patches just didn't work well for me, and I'm not going to go into reasons why right now.
5. Raider Says:
I tried to order Smoke Deter, but their site seems to be down. Has anybody used the patch and liked it better than Smoke Deter?
6. John Says:
Raider, I just went to their website and it works just fine: www.smokedeter.com

Hi. Nice article. I don't think I will buy the nicocure but I wish the best of luck for everyone here. I started smoking in middle school. I quit for a couple years and started again when I joined the Navy. I have a couple weeks left on my contract, been smoking for a year and a half. I am two weeks cigarette free. I am sure to carry them with me. I don't feel like I need them when I have them. (Want it more if it isn't available) Whenever something stressful happens I just remember that I want to be a positive role model for my little sister.
I know that this doesn't help anyone and I am lucky that quiting cold turkey is going so well (thus far). I kind of think that smoking has turned into alcoholism. Maybe I will fight the cravings the rest of my life.
My helpful tip: Bananas have potasium that hinders cravings. And they are good for you. I do that once in a while when I think I am going to 'relapse'.
I only ate one bannana last week...
Good luck everybody!
Great article!

I bought the Nicoderm CQ. Expensive at $50+. This is Day 7 and I'm literally crying! I just realized that the patches I bought at the store EXPIRED almost 6 months ago!! I lost the receipt and the tools at the store won't even check their locked glass cabinet for "like" lot #'s that are stamped on the box and exchange my half used box of expired crap that they sold me for a fresh box. I still haven't smoked but I haven't done much of anything else in the last 7 days either. I feel like smashing glass!!

Well, Im gonna try the smokedeter, and see if i can Quit as well i only smoke 1 pack a Day by Morning i will have just about 2 or 3 Cigs left compared to other Smokers who smoke at least 3 to 4 packs a day, but i figure the more packs you smoke a Day the Harder it will take for you to Get off, I just don't Understand why tobbaco companys put those chemicals in there cigarettes in the first place.. there are some cases where a Person can smoke and live forever and won't have any Problems, But you won't know if your that Lucky Person or Not it's like spining a Wheel wondering if it Will Be You.. Im Not gonna Chance it.
Speaking of the wieght loss that comes with Smoking and simply won't Gain any new wieght until you Quit...
11. I. Johnson Says:
I would love to quit smoking. I enjoy it so much unlike much of anything else well except.....
I have tried to quit cold turkey before as i have been told that this is the only true way to quit. Maybe if i didn't like it so much. I may try smoke deter but i don't like starting something that i can't keep up with.
12. Jan Says:
Everyone thanks, but I can really say I've tried many different techniques, nothing really works, Nicoderm CQ does hinter your sleep, I've been smoking for over 30 years, stopped many times but the desire just won't go away so I'll try this product just maybe this is the one. But what about the weight gain any suggestion?
13. Libby Says:
Hi Justin,
Thank you very much for sharing your story with everyone. I am encouraged! Was about to ask my doctor for a perscription for Chantix, but now I believe I will defintely try SmokeDeter. Sounds as if it will do the job.
I am sixty six and want to quit but have not been able to lay them down yet. I feel VICTORY in the air, Justin!
Thanks again for sharing and caring for others.

Jana... The same thing happened to me the last time I bought patches. Fortunately for you, you have already gone 7 days without a true source of nicotine, meaning that the worst of it will be over in about 3-5 days as the last of the nicotine byproduct will have left your body by then. After that the physical withdrawls drop almost infinately... just gotta get through the mental.
Best of luck.
